Job Description:
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Infectious Diseases in the laboratory of Dr. Charles Russell for outstanding candidates to work on Paramyxovirus and Influenza Virus Replication, Pathogenesis, and Vaccination.  The laboratory of Dr. Russell provides an outstanding training environment for postdoctoral fellows in molecular, cell biological, and animal model methods to study infectious disease research.  We study respiratory, negative-strand RNA viruses (paramyxoviruses and influenza viruses).

Job Qualifications:
Candidates should have a recent PhD or DVM/MD/PhD in virology, infectious diseases, or related biomedical sciences.  Candidates with prior experience in paramyxovirus and/or influenza virus research, animal models, and cellular/molecular biology are highly desired.
