Job description:

• Postdoctoral researcher needed for working on regulation of the complement system and it’s role in inflammatory diseases.
• Responsible for performing semi-independent research and assisting in the development of technical models.

Qualifications needed:

• Ph.D. degree in biological/medical sciences (e.g., microbiology, molecular biology, biology, biochemistry, or immunology) is required.
• Laboratory experience and peer-reviewed publications in the area of study in immunology, complement system, hematology, and/or immunoparasitology are required.
• Ability to work independently and to supervise and train other lab personnel.
• Experience in Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography protein purification (e.g. size exclusion, ion exchange, affinity), protein biochemistry (i.e. biacore) and molecular biology (cloning and sequencing) knowledge are a plus.
• Additional biomedical degree, such as D.V.M. or M.D., is desirable but not required.
